My approach is tailored to your unique needs, and I’m committed to helping you create the positive changes you're seeking in your life.
Let’s take this step together!
About Me
Along with being a Marriage and Family Therapist (MFT), I have worked as a nurse since 2001. Through the years, I’ve had the privilege of hearing people’s stories and walking beside them during some truly awful times; I’m continually amazed by our resilience.
Therapy with me is wrestling with interesting questions, examining ourselves, recognizing patterns, making connections, and learning new ways of thinking. I know that might sound scary, but it doesn’t have to be. I believe that therapy changed my life for the better and I would be so happy to share that gift with you.

I see clients in person at 394 St. Anne's Road in Winnipeg, MB. I am one of several independent practitioners who work out of Empowered Minds Therapy and Wellness. The building is fully accessible and there is free parking behind the building.
Virtual sessions are conducted with Owl Practice secure video technology. You do not need special equipment, just an internet connection and a computer, tablet or smartphone. I will send you a link prior to our session.
I acknowledge that I live and work on Treaty 1 territory, the ancestral homelands of the Anishinaabe, Cree, Oji-Cree, Dakota, and Dene Peoples, and on the National Homeland of the Red River Métis. I respect the Treaties that were made on these territories, I acknowledge the harms and mistakes of the past, and am dedicated to moving forward in partnership with Indigenous communities in a spirit of reconciliation and collaboration.
